There's nothing we love more than solving complex data puzzles and creating the WOW!-effect with spot-on analytics. That twinkle in the eyes of users when seeing new insights and discovering new opportunities is what we aim for.

We would like to get in touch with you as a senior engineer, senior developer or a job title that suits you even better. The most important thing to say is that you will become an important part of the BI Development Team with us. For convenience, we use 'senior developer' and in that role we would like to empower you. To achieve that, you obviously need some things from us:

Enjoy your work. Something we want to achieve with, among other things, project-based work for (international) clients. Think of 65 separate projects that have to 'rhyme' to become one, the development of our own tool for building data warehouses faster, but also the construction of an application to which organizations in the financial sector can connect their administrations and adjust their processes themselves so that everything is clearly visible. Of course, this requires the right tools:

Technology and tools. As a specialist in your field, you have already seen a lot of technology and tooling and you now know what works and when. Although we certainly do not reject 'old school', we certainly also like to work 'new school'. Overall, the focus is on Microsoft stack and more precisely you have to think of the use of Azure, Dremio, Azure SQL, Databricks, Python, ADF and Power BI. As a lead and driving force, you obviously have a lot to say about the choice within a project

This is what you bring to the table

• Eagerness!! You will never stop levelling up.
  
• Full data-flow experience: You know your way around from Power BI to DWH to data modeling, data engineering, Azure/AWS/Google computing, you name it.
  
• Others say you are a genius with SQL.
• Azure stack pro-level experience: or you’re pro-level in another cloud-based stack (AWS/Google cloud) and feel very confident you’ll master the Azure stack in no time.
  
• Communication skills: you communicate proactively, follow-up and you can clearly communicate your ideas and solutions to junior developers and BI consultants.
  
• Seniority: you are self-supporting, you know when to refactor and write code and when not, you are able to solve shit when shit hits the fan.

• Build the best possible solutions on every project to deliver maximum value to our client’s businesses.

• Take the lead in the way we build solutions, advance our technical capabilities, improve the way we work, and lift the overall quality of work within All Your BI.
  
• Project quality & data governance. What you see is what you own. And if what you see is sh**, you see it as your responsibility to get it fixed. Clients rely on you to make sure everything works as it should.
  
• Coach others on the job. No people management, but you show others how to improve their work and you lift them up.
  

You’ll ace this position if you would love to:

• Work for different customers, large and small, with complex data issues, always on a project basis.
  
• Solve complex data puzzles, achieve what others deemed impossible, and continuously find smarter ways to do the job.
  
• Build smart tooling to automate or improve our work.
  
• Work with the Microsoft stack without marrying it. You always look for the best tools for the job.
  
• Work in a company with a strong collaborative mindset and attitude, whether it’s about client projects, internal projects, or organizing something fun.
  
• Work across the full spectrum of data: from traditional Business Intelligence Solutions to more advanced Analytics Solutions and Operation Intelligence.
  
• Work in a team where everyone can read and write queries, from developers to product owners (even our marketeer can do it a little).
  
• With the whole team, make All Your BI the most leading BI company in the Netherlands (and abroad).

The title says 'senior' for a reason and of course there is a lot involved. A strong technical background is definitely an important part, but being able to bear the (final) responsibility for (technical) solutions and results, being able to join a sales process and 'sell' a technical solution, being able to translate to non-techies, propagate a long-term vision and manage a team in good communication skills, are qualities that are essential for us. We also think that for this role it's essential that you already live in the Netherlands, so 'willing to move to the Netherlands' is not an option at the moment.

The terms and conditions of employment, equally point-by-point:

• A salary between € 4000,- and € 5600,- (depending on knowledge and experience), 8% holiday pay comes on top of that.
