Important club rituals
The Daily
We didn’t realize it in the beginning but our Daily Stand-up has become the most important ritual within our club. Every day from 8:45 till 09:00 sharp! we start the day together with the whole team. We share our top priority for the day and where we need help from others.
We find it the most fun way to start our day as not laughing very hard out loud is a rare ocurence.
The Weekly
Every friday we take an hour to check where we are on our quartly goals, sales & recruitment funnel, and what projects need attention.
Our developer team have a seperate weekly the half hour before the general weekly to go indepth on the technical side of projects.
We also share some (peronal) news, bond a little and have a laugh together.
Show & Tell
Every thursday we take 30minutes for our Show & Tell: a team member will show or demo some of his / her work.
Sometimes it's the architecture of a new tool that has been developed, cool features on a new dashboard, smart automations or the ins-and-outs of a predictive model put in production. It's a nice way to see what everyone is working on and often it is also educational.
Sprint Retro
At the end of every sprint we take an hour to evaluatie the sprint as a team to see what makes us move forward and what holds us back. We implemented the conclusitions directly next sprint.
Quarterlies & OKR
Every quarter we evaluate our results, prioritize what to work on to achieve our yearly goals and discuss what is important for our club. At the end we define the Objective and Key Results (OKR) for that quarter and form teams to achieve them. Twice a year we combine this with a team outing including overnight stay at an inspiring location.
Level-up Check-in
We want you to grow (level up)!
So every 6 to 8 weeks a founder or senior member will take an hour of his/her time so you can tell what you need to keep growing. And they will help you to reach your goals and navigate through the trenches.
Game nights
We have many gamers in the house! So we reguarly organise game nights. Often online, and sometimes offline. If you join, we'll send some drinks to your place.
